The city is awash with the most amazingly intricate architecture, centering on Durbar Square with its eclectic collection of temples and shrines, the exquisite old Royal Palace and the Statue of Hanuman the red cloaked Monkey God. Buddhism and Hinduism have become intermingled in Nepal in a bizarre way that few outsiders can begin to comprehend and the various pagoda style temples and shrines in the Kathmandu Valley are dedicated to a plethora of fascinating gods and goddesses.

Day 01: Arrive at Kathmandu

kathmanduAfter your arrival at Kathmandu, you would be transferred to your hotel. You would be check into the hotel and spend the day indulging into your choice of activities like checking out local markets and neighborhood alleys. After relaxing for the day, have enjoyable overnight stay at the hotel.



Day 02: Kathmandu

kathmandu2Visit the Pashupatinath and Boudhnath Temples. Pashupatinath temple is one of the most sacred Hindu temples of Lord Shiva in Nepal. Situated on the banks river Bagmati, this temple is one of the oldest and most sacred place of worship. Boudhnath, which is also known as Boudha or Baudhanath or the Khaasa Caitya, is possibly the world’s largest Buddhist stupa. Dominating the Kathmandu skyline, Boudhnath is the local centre of Tibetan culture and Buddhist spirituality. In afternoon, you will visit the Kasthamandap, elegant temple carved from wood of a single tree. Explore Darbar Square; the courtyard in front of the royal palace. Marvel at this beautiful architecture, holy temples and it’s rich cultural heritage. After visiting the Temple of Kumari, residence of the living Goddess, you will visit Swayambhunath, a 2000 year old and very sacred Buddhist pilgrimage. It is also known as Monkey temple. After sightseeing the Kathmandu city, you would return to the hotel for warm and restful night.

Day 03: Pokhara

pokharaIn morning, after 5-6 hour drive, you will reach Pokhara; the most scenic valley of the Himalayan Kingdom. Situated at the base of Annapurna, Pokhara has the breathtaking view of Himalyan valley. You are free to relax at the hotel or spend the day in activity of your choice. Then, you would return to the hotel for overnight stay.

Day 04: Pokhara

pokhara2Start your morning with the sightseeing tour of Pokhara. You would visit Sarangkot and view the shining and proud pinnacles of Himalayas like Mt. Annapurna (8091 m), Fishtail (6994 m), Dhaulagiri (8167 m) and Himalchuli (7893 m). Later on, you would explore Pokhara furthermore. You will witness Davis Falls and the Lord Shiva shrine; the Gupteswor Cave. You will also visit the Vindhavasini Temple and Phewa Lake. At this lake, you can choose to enjoy boat ride on your own. Finally, you would return to the hotel for the night’s rest.

Day 05: Chitwan

chitwanYou would start your day with 4-5 hour drive. After reaching Chitwan valley, you would visit Chitwan National Park, one of the last settlements of the single horned Asiatic Rhinoceros. Here, you will explore the wilderness and enjoy the opportunity to see animals like Royal Bengal Tigers and the One-horned Rhinos amongst many others. Then, return to the hotel for leisure and relaxation at night.

Day 06: Chitwan

chitwan2Start the morning with royal ride; an elephant safari. Then, you would enjoy canoe ride to a crocodile breeding farm. After the farm, you would get a rare opportunity to witness elephant bathing. This is a very refreshing and exciting local activity that captivates the travellers. Then, you would come back to the hotel for restful night.


Day 07: Kathmandu

kathmandu3Your day would start with a 6 hour return drive to Kathmandu. The rest of the day is free for your own activities. Kathmandu is thriving travel destination with many offerings for everyone. Then, you would return to the hotel for good night sleep.



Day 08: Departure from Kathmandu

  1. Non a/c vehicle mentioned will be available as per the itinerary and will not be at disposal.
  2. All passengers must carry valid passport or voting card except children below 18 years who need school / college identity card with photograph.
  3. Carrying of Indian Rs.500 & 1,000 Notes is a punishable offence in Nepal. Do inform the clients not to carry any.
  4. Reconfirmation of Return Ticket on arrival, which is a must, irrespective of the clients holding a confirmed return.
  5. International Departure airport tax is not included in your ticket. INR. 850 per person (adult / child) is applicable and is payable directly at the time of check-in at the international airport.
  6. By paying supplements, upgradation to a higher category of hotels is possible.

  8. At times, due to high season, the required hotels may not be available. Alternative hotels will be used and you will be intimated of it. If an upgradation is required to confirm any particular hotel, the supplement is to be given.
